My Story
I’m a mom of 2 amazing daughters, a multiple business owner, and a life adventurer. Who I have become is a resilient woman, who survived and thrived from multiple traumas, now finding myself in this new space. This is exactly where I was meant to be.
I once was the wife who had a vision for my life and a future with my husband. We were together for 27 years when he tragically passed away. The day he died the wife died, I died. Suffering from trauma, ptsd, a year of dissociative amnesia, and trying to hold on for my daughters as my life collapsed, living as a struggling solo mom, I found myself in the darkest abyss imaginable. Emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically unraveling. I found myself at a precipice. I could lose my life through all of this, or find a new me. My reslient self chose the latter.
I found myself anchored in nature as I navigated through anger, pain, and grief. Each step in a hike, every minute I spent sitting with the trees, the earth, the animals and the stars I became grounded. I allowed God through the universe to heal my heart, mind, and body through nature while practicing the art of resiliency and forgiveness. As a result, I began finding a new me. A version of me who saw life through a new lens, a new appreciation for life, a longer laugh, and a love for life, a new appreciation of what I wanted as a legacy.
I can say I spent the following years finding out who the new me was looking back in the mirror. My future was a black hole I couldn't stop staring at. I used the distraction of spending with girlfriends as a vacation to escape my problems. What I realized through our conversations was so many women are having to rebuild for themselves, for their children when life changes through death of a spouse or a divorce. We are all very different and yet so very much the same. Women deserve women who empower them to rise up out of the ashes of once was. I chose to become one of those women who began supporting other women. Once I realized I could only help empower women on a small level I began my journey of becoming a full time coach to help women just like you.
